Who Are We?
Starship Insurance Brokers Limited is a limited liability company incorporated in 2006 and licensed by the National Insurance Commission of Nigeria (NAICOM) to carry on business as a General and Life Insurance Business in Nigeria (RBC-620). The company is also a bonafide member of the association of insurance brokers under the umbrella body of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
We have a special focus on value-for-money insurance, innovation, and customer-centric. Our focus is to deliver greater value in the core business of risk assessments, intermediation, and claims recovery for our clientele for their overall business growth and stability.
We are operating under a paid-up capital of over N30 Million with a Professional Indemnity cover of N40 Million above the regulator’s minimum requirement— for the protection of our clients in the unlikely event of any professional negligence on our part.

The primary duty of an insurance broker is to help arrange insurance cover for its client’s need but, at Starship Insurance Brokers Limited, we go beyond this primary duty and offer to our clients, at no extra cost, a comprehensive risk management services and consultancy. Some of our services are:
Risk analysis & evaluation
- Hazard analysis, evaluation, and reduction through safety programs such as fire prevention mechanisms and education of employees on safety tips in offices and homes
- We provide an estimate of the relative costs of methods for meeting the various risks or their prevention or reduction
- Underwriting and placement of risks with local and international insurance underwriters and guided risk survey.

Our Chairman, Mr Roberts acquired vast experience in public sector risk management serving in various capacities within the strategic federal ministries and parastatals including, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Civil Service Commission, and Nigerian Sports Commission. He is on the board of many private companies in Nigeria including Bobrokins Nigeria Limited where he also doubles as Chairman.

He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is an alumnus of Howard University School of Business, Washington DC, USA. Felix has worked in management positions for over 30 years.

Mr Lawson is a graduate of Mass Communications from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta, Ogun state. He has a certificate in Media Enterprise from Pan- Atlantic, University, Lagos. He is on the board of Skyview Communications Company Ltd, Pathview Global Links Ltd, Skyview Destination Management & Marketing Company, and Changers Associate and Kornerstone Counselling, a non-profit making organization that has branches in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Mr Adediran Oluwaseyi is highly experienced in branch and territory management with over seventeen years experience of in successful new business development, competitive market share expansion, and customer relationship development. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management of Nigeria (FCILRM); an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN) and a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

Mr Adesona E. Idowu is an ingenious insurance professional with decades of experience. He holds a National Diploma in Statistics from the Federal School of Statistics, Ibadan. He also holds a Diploma in Insurance (WAII) from the West African Insurance Institute, Gambia. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.(ACIIN). He is also an Associate Registered Insurance Broker (RBA -724).

Akinrimisi Akingbule is a law graduate of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he obtained an LL.B and LL.M respectively. Prior to his engagement as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser of Starship Group, Akinrimisi has worked as an Associate Counsel with G.A Babalola & Co, Yinka Adeyosoye Chambers and Abugu & Co. Solicitors.

Lawrence Kolapo Olla holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. (ACIIN). He has over 22 years qualitative insurance underwriting experience in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industrial sector.

Odusanya Segun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

Temitope Ojo joined Starship Group with wide experience in administration. Between 2008 and 2017, he was the Administration Officer at I-Cell LLC and later an Executive Assistant to the CEO. He holds an HND in Secretarial Administration (LASPOTEC) and PGD and MBA in Management from Ladoke Akintola University. He is a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
